Introduction
At PushTimer, your privacy is a foundational design principle, not an afterthought. We build time tracking software designed to stay out of your way and keep your tracking records fully secure. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, and protect your information when you register for and use our platform.
Information We Collect
We only collect information directly necessary to provide you with the tracking and subscription services:
- Account Information: Your email address and encrypted password hash, which are required to create, secure, and authenticate your account.
- Time Tracking Data: The names of clients, projects, tasks, start/end timestamps, durations, and notes that you actively choose to input and record.
- Billing Information: If you subscribe to our Pro tier, transaction processing is handled securely by Stripe. We do not store or process your credit card numbers on our servers; we only store Stripe customer and subscription ID tokens to manage access limits.
What we NEVER collect: We do not track your background application activities, monitor your screen, capture window titles, record keystrokes, or sell any of your records to marketing third parties.
How We Use Your Data
Your information is utilized solely to deliver and optimize the PushTimer service:
- To authenticate your login sessions and secure your tracking workspace.
- To compute durations and render reports, charts, and CSV spreadsheets.
- To process transactions and manage your tier limits (Free vs Pro).
- To send critical system updates or respond to support requests.
Data Security & Retention
PushTimer enforces rigorous tenant database isolation layers to guarantee that no user can access or view another user's tracking logs.
All account information is transmitted using standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS) encryption. Data is stored on secure production servers and backed up regularly.
Your Rights & Control
We believe you should have complete ownership over your data:
- Data Portability: You can export all your tracked timesheet logs to a standard CSV spreadsheet at any time from the Reports dashboard.
- Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your profile from the Settings workspace. Doing so immediately initiates a cascading deletion that permanently wipes your user profile, clients, projects, and all historical timers from our database.
